About Psychotherapy

Whatever your previous experience with counseling or psychotherapy, it is important, as you consider entering into a new therapeutic relationship to remember that most often, you know more about what you need than anyone else. I encourage my clients to take ownership of their process.

Some of the problem areas people bring to therapy are: addictive behaviors, anxiety and depression, trauma,(PTSD), mid-life transition and relationship issues. These areas of distress often overlay deeper, core disruptions in the psyche. We work together to shift these core issues into the light of consciousness where they are reprocessed and resolved. Along with relief from many of these symptoms, clients report a new sense of inner space and experience the freedom to explore choices and dreams they had previously abandoned as impossible.
